If the either one of the Democratic nominees becomes President, we will see, by their admission, the highest tax increase in this country's history.  You have all paid your taxes for the past year.  Do you want to pay more?

Past history is the best indicator of future behavior. Take a look at taxes for Bill Clinton vs President Bush below.  You can find this information at  www.taxfoundation.org

I was watching the White House reception of the Pope.  I didn't have preconceptions of the Pope's speech, however, after listening to him, I was quite impressed.  You know, his speech could have been that of a conservative candidate.  In fact, it would have probably been one of the best speeches during this campaign season.

The Pope said, "From the dawn of the republic, America's quest for freedom has been guided by the conviction that the principles governing political and social life are intimately linked to a moral order based on the dominion of God the creator...".

Unlike the so-called "Reverend" Wright, the Pope did not spew racism or hate of America.  He encouraged us as a "nation".  I hope Wright was able to listen to the Pope's speech.  Of course, he will fault it because it didn't call for the chickens to come home to roost or blame the Federal Government for aids.
