Here he goes again. Mr. Slick is spinning President Bush's speech. Why... well for one, he is a liar (something which the Right Wing Squadron and other conservative bloggers have revealed) and secondly, if he attackes Bush, he attacks McCain at the same time. He and other Democrats like to refer to John McCain's candidacy as Bush's run for a third term.
Let's go over what Obama said today...
-
Obama said of George Bush, "...he wants to accuse me and other Democrats of wanting to negotiate with terrorists and said we were appeasers no different from people who appeased Adolf Hitler."
-
Here is what President Bush really said, "Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.... We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement."
-
President George Bush never mentioned Barack "Mr. Slick" Obama in his speech nor did he say anything about the Democrats. President Bush's comments applies to anyone who would dialog with terrorists regardless of political party affiliation. Obama does this so he can attack McCain by proxy. Obama is an out-right liar.
-
Obama took every oppportunity today to attack John McCain today by lumping him in with the President. He said McCain "embraced George Bush's attacks on Democrats" and then questioned Senator McCain's civility. Again, Obama re-enforces his lie. Remember, President Bush never mentioned the Democrats. However, by spinning his story he is able to attack John McCain.
-
Obama complained that John McCain said he was not fit to defend this country. He went on to qualify himself by saying his Grandfather served in World War II. Now the Right Wing Squadron salutes his Grandfather for his service to our country. However, I have no respect for a man who brings up his Grandfather's honorable service to elevate himself.

In another part of his speech today Mr. Slick said, “That’s the Bush-McCain record on protecting this country. Those are the failed policies that John McCain wants to double down on, because he still hasn’t spelled out one substantial way he’d be different from George Bush when it comes to foreign policy.”
Obama and his left wing looney followers are, as he likes to put it, "out of touch" with reality. No wonder the terrorists and leaders of rogue nations endorse him.
