Republican and conservative McCain bashers - What are you thinking!

Now I know that more than a few conservatives don't agree with John McCain on some issues.  Thei disagreements have led to heavy McCain bashing by popular Republicans leaning radio and Tv personalities.  Ann Coulter, for one, has lot her marbles over McCain.  I used enjoy listening to Coulter's views, however, what is she thinking?  Is she and others like her saying that they rather have a looney like Obama in office.  I can only see that their McCain bashing is only helping Obama. 

I wonder how many people that listen to these critics on radio and TV talk shows will end up voting for Obama based on the bashing they hear from these people.

Is John McCain as liberal as some of these people have elluded to?  I would say that he may not be an extreme hard right conservative, but rather he is a moderate conservative. Do I agree with everything he says?  No, I don't agree with everything he says.  I do admit that I like John McCain and I agree with a lot of what he says, but no, I don't agree with everything.  I also like President Bush, but I don't agree with everything he says either.  Look, McCain on his most liberal day is still a great deal better than Obama on his most conservative day.

I really believe that these McCain-bashing conservatives should keep themselves in check, unless of course, they want Obama to win the general election.
