To support the Surrender Party, retired General Wes Clark made comments about Senator John McCain, saying things like... “I don’t think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president.”  Clark told CBS television that McCain was a hero for enduring years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam "but he hasn't held executive responsibility."

Frankly, I am quite surprised to hear this kind of talk from a retired General, regardless of political affiliation.  I am absolutely positive that he would have loved to have this kind of person serving under his command during his active duty years.  This kind of rhetoric is not necessary.  That is what happens when you drink the kool-aid!  He thinks he is helping Obama's campaign by spewing such non-sense and maybe he is, but he is certainly not helping the motivation of the young men and women in our country that may be considering military service.  He trivializes McCain's service to our country.  Holy cow, what does a person have to do for his country to get respect.  Senator McCain endured a hell of a lot more than Clark during his service in Viet Nam.

When Clark says that McCain's service does reflect experience for executive responsibility, I wonder what in the heck he means.  I never heard McCain say that his time spent as a POW quantifies his executive experience.  Further, it doesn't give Obama any more credibility toward his own executive experience.  So what is the point!  Well, the point is that he wants to downplay John McCain's total dedication and love he has for this country!  It is just a political statement that has no "meat" in it.  It just reveals Wes Clarks as another left wing loon who will make idiotic statements in an attempt to smear John McCain.  I respect and appreciate Clark's service to our country.  I wish he had the same respect for John McCain.

So the big news (well, the MSM thinks it is big) is about the Obama's collectively giving Hillary $4600 to help her re-coup money she spent on the campaign trail.  What I don't get is why Hillary needs to get reimbused for here failed attempt to secure the Surrender Party's nomination.  So she gambled and she lost.  Now she wants her money back.  That's B.S.!

The Democrats love social programs, so why don't they give their money to their programs instead.  No, they would rather hand it over to a multi-millionaire.  Look, she made an investment and it didn't pay off.  That falls under the category of "too bad".  It's amazing how the left wing socialists make big noise about the suffering of their special interest groups, but they would rather take care of their "rich" buddies.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't cut any slack to a Republican, Independent or any "Joe Blow" who would ask for their money back for a failed political attempt.

Tony Perkins, President of FRC, is featured in an ad that was broadcast yesterday (June 26th) in Ohio.  In it he addresses Obama's Father's Day speech and relates it to his stand on abortion.

Take a look...

What were the candidates doing for the United States when they were young adults?

Think about it!

Back in March I blogged D.C.'s unconstitutional handgun law (read here).  The law stood for 26 years.  However, the Supreme Court upheld an individual's right to own a handgun in D.C.

The liberal loons questioned the second amendment, "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."  The basic issue for the justices was whether the amendment protects an individual's right to own guns no matter what, or whether that right is somehow tied to service in a state militia.

Writing for the majority, Justice Antonin Scalia said that an individual right to bear arms is supported by "the historical narrative" both before and after the Second Amendment was adopted.

The Constitution does not permit "the absolute prohibition of handguns held and used for self-defense in the home," Scalia said. The court also struck down Washington's requirement that firearms be equipped with trigger locks or kept disassembled, but left intact the licensing of guns.

In a dissent he summarized from the bench, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote that the majority "would have us believe that over 200 years ago, the Framers made a choice to limit the tools available to elected officials wishing to regulate civilian uses of weapons."

He said such evidence "is nowhere to be found."

The Right Wing Squadron applauds this decision.

Is global warming a man-made phenomenon?  Well, I am not convinced.  I don't tend to jump on the left wing loon band wagon everytime some liberal wants to hug a tree.  While I believe our environment is everyone's responsibility, I don't think global warming is primarily caused by humans.  Global warming is cyclic.  I believe it will happen regardless of human impact.

Here is an interesting article for you... http://furtheradventuresofindigored.blogspot.com/2008/06/global-warming-solar-radiation-linked.html

We at the Right Wing Squadron have consistently revealed Obama's lies.  We have also pointed out that he is a typical politician.  Contrary to what he wants you all to believe, he plays the political game as well as anyone... no, he actually plays it better than anyone.  Don't be fooled by Mr. Slick!  Don't jump on the Obama band wagon just because it's P.C.

He agreed to take public campaign funding if John McCain did the same.  Ok, so now that Senator McCain took the funding, Obama wants to go back on his word.  Why, well because he doesn't want to be limited to $84 million.  Now that McCain is restricted by the funding rules, Obama makes a quick "political" turn and refuses to keep his word.  He is a LIAR!  It's plain and simple... he lies.  He has been lying for the entire campaign.  He says what he thinks people want to hear.

He said he never knew that Jeremiah Wright spewed his racist filth even though he was his pastor for nearly 20 years.  Come on, get real!  Oh, but then he changes his story and says that he did hear it before, but doesn't subscribe to his racist beliefs.  Oh yeah, then why let him perform your marriage and baptize your children?  After getting his underpants all bunched up in that debacle, he cuts his ties with Wright.  Man, what a politician.  Oops, he says he's not the typical politician.  Let's not even mention the $100,000 he brokered for the good Father.

Don't be fooled!  Obama is a first class liar.

I just can't believe what is coming out of the Obama camp.  He criticizes John McCain's plans to keep our country safe, however his advisor, Richard Danzig, a former Navy secretary under President Clinton, said, “Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security.”

He wants to use Winnie the Pooh as our National Defense manual!  If this is the best the Obama camp can come up with, then we are in grave danger if this knucklehead gets in office!

Obama agreed with the Supreme Court ruling last week that detainees in Guantanamo, Cuba have a constitutional right to challenge their indefinite imprisonment in U.S. civilian courts. McCain derided the ruling as "one of the worst decisions in the history of this country."

It is inconceivable that foreign terrorists should be given the same rights as U.S. citizens.  The liberals want to give away the rights we enjoy as being citizens of this great country.  They want to make us no different from the terrorists who want to kill Americans!

Former Secretary of the Navy said,“The terrorists should have due process but what Obama said that this is the right approach shows a very deep ignorance of the facts and a very dangerous policy."

Obama is completely ignorant of the danger this country faces.  He and other Democrats (the Surrender Party) say the GOP is guilty of fear mongering.  The fact is, the GOP (just for the record, I am an Independent) is only guilty of dealing with reality.  John McCain knows that we need to take a hard stand to defend this country from Islamo-Terrorists.  The left wing loons just don't have the will nor the stamina to fight the war on terror.

Obama does have the pre-911 mindset with which he has been accused.  That is why cut and run wussies like John Kerry has jumped on board with his endorsement.  Remember, this is the guy who ran away from his duties in Viet Nam for a minor wound to join up with Jane Fonda during the Viet Nam war.  John Kerry and Barack Obama want our country to lose the war on terror.  That is their M.O.!

I have noticed that Evangelicals are questioning their support for John McCain.  Have they also been hypnotized by Mr. Slick?  Barack Obama's dynamic, yet non-substantive, personality has attracted a lot of people who tend to only see him on a surface level.  Obama supports partial birth abortion!  For this reason alone, Evangelicals should not be supporting Obama at all.  Why would they even consider voting for a liberal who supports abortion.  I mean, even if you don't agree with John McCain on every issue, as a Christian, you have got to weigh his moral values over the Democrat alternative.

There is a great site for Evagelicals (Evangelicals for McCain) that support John McCain.  On the homepage (as of this writing) is says...

"Senator John McCain is pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-America. He is pro-Israel, anti-terror, supports secure borders and sensible fiscal and environmental policy. As Christians, Families and Patriots we stand United in Purpose: Senator John McCain for President '08!"
