As all of you know, Obama made idiotic statements that the opposition will make people fear him because he "doesn't look like the presidents on those dollar bills."  That was completely inappropriate and John McCain called him on it (and rightly so).  Mr. Slick is playing the race card and it was negative campaigning on his part.  However, in slick fashion he quickly bashed McCain for negative campaigning and said that John McCain was taking the low road and "practicing the politics of the past."

Obama tries to spin anything negative about himself as "practicing the politics of the past."  He will use lines like that because he offers no intelligent response to the fact that he played the race card.  Further, what makes him think that the brand of politics he practices holds any integrity.  I have only seen lies and flip flopping all over the place from the guy.  He is worse than John Kerry!  He says what he "thinks" people want to hear.  He will flip on any issue to satiate the particular audience he is addressing at any given time.

If lying to the American people is the politics of the future, then give me the politics of the past.

left wing loon nancy pelosi Over 70% of Americans favor off shore drilling, however, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), a staunch opponent of offshore drilling, has simply decreed that she will not allow a drilling vote to take place on the House floor.

What's up with that?!?!  Instead of getting her panties bunched up, why not let issue stand on it's own merits.  Let the vote take place?

She says that she is saving the planet!  Yes, she is single-handedly saving the world.  No, wait a minute Democrat Senator Harry Reid is her sidekick.  He too, is in "bed" with Pelosi on this issue.

When she became House Speaker she and the Democrat Majority said, "bills should generally come to the floor under a procedure that allows open, full and fair debate consisting of a full amendment process that grants the Minority the right to offer its alternatives."  Shouldn't drilling for oil be open for discussion too?  What is she and Reid afraid of?  Well, she is afraid that the will of the American people will trump her selfish desires.

She is being so unreasonable that small groups of Democrats have begun meeting informally with Republicans to try to reach a bipartisan response to higher oil prices, and opening up new areas to drilling is part of the mix. Leaders of both parties are openly pressing for drilling in the Arctic refuge and elsewhere.

Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) said, “Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are standing in the way of what the American people want.”

“I’m trying to save the planet; I’m trying to save the planet,” she says impatiently when questioned. “I will not have this debate trivialized by their excuse for their failed policy.”

“I respect the office that I hold,” she says. “And when you win the election, you win the majority, and what is the power of the speaker? To set the agenda, the power of recognition, and I am not giving the gavel away to anyone.”

Unfortunately, Pelosi is more interested in power than the American people!

According Rep. Jarrod Nadler, (D-NY), Obama told Democrats in a Washington D.C. closed door meeting that he would order his attorney general to search through White House executive orders and "immediately" eliminate those that "trample on liberty".

When Obama addressed reporters waiting outside the closed door meeting, he kept quiet about his plan.  He did say, however, that he would be campaigning to win the presidency and help "expand" Democratic majorities in the House and Senate.  This means he, Pelosi and Reid will be empire building.

"I am looking forward to collaborating with everyone here to win the election, but more importantly to collaborate with everybody here and also some like-minded Republicans to actually govern and to deliver on behalf of the American people," Obama said.

On behalf of the American people?  He is doing it on behalf on himself and the looney left.

What is Obama's definition of "liberty"?  Of course, as the most liberal Senator in Washington, he will pander to the left wing loons.  He will squash our national defense in the name of liberty.  He already said that he will scale back on weapons research and manufacturing.

He told the Europeans he wants to be a world citizen.  So I am sure his plan will make us pander to Germany, France and other European nations.  I would prefer that he concentrate on the United States and her citizens.

Frankly, his arrogance is nauseating.

The Surrender Party (spelled Democrats) is scratching its head in response to recent polls that shows that Obama's rock star trip overseas had no impact.  In fact, John McCain's poll numbers actually improved.

I think that many Americans (except for the left wing loons) are not impressed with what Europeans think of Obama.  After all, while Obama wants to be a citizen of the world, most Americans want someone who is concerned about the United States.

For instance, small businesses don't care about the 200,000 Germans who showed up for the free beer, hot dogs and rock bands.  They are more concerned about paying higher taxes so that Obama can perform his "wealth distribution" plan.  Commuters and transportation companies don't care about the cool stages built for his events, they want lower oil prices.  They want us to begin drilling right here in the U.S.

These are the things that are important to Americans.  This is why the polls are not making rock star gains for Mr. Slick!  It's time for Obama to take down the smoke and mirrors and begin giving us real solutions.  I guess its more important for him to stroke his ego by telling people what they want to hear, even if there is nothing substantive behind his words.

Ok, so Obama says he is on a congressional fact finding trip.  He touted it as function of his senate job.  He said it was not a campaign trip.  Well, any dimwit knows that he is on the stump!  My question is who paid for this trip?  Since it is a congressional fact finding trip and not a so-called campaign trip, does that mean this whirl wind trip was paid with tax payer's money?

Obama said that his trip abroad was a senatorial function and not about campaigning, however, too many of his speeches and talks with foreign governments we all about campaigning.  In fact, he borders on trying to dictate foreign policy, albeit prematurely.

The last I heard, we still have a President and a Secretary of State.  At this point he should respect that, but he will do anything to win.  For Obama, it's about winning.  In fact, John McCain said it perfectly while in New Hampshire yesterday.  He said his Democratic rival "would rather lose a war in order to win a campaign."

While I agreed with Senator McCain when he criticized Obama for not visiting Iraq, I also thought that the timing was bad.  We all knew that Obama would arrange a trip and neutralize the attack.  I believe that the McCain campaign should have brought Obama's failure to visit the Middle East sometime in the first or second week of October.  At that point it would have been too late to make travel arrangements.

While conservatives are not fooled by Obama's "senatorial delegation" and off the cuff speeches from the Middle East, many Americans are star struck by the rock star presence the MSM is providing for him.  We know the media is in the tank for Obama when the 3 major news networks send their anchors to lick the boots of Obama.

So now he is being sensationalized by the media and he is extending his popularity overseas.  He will gain unstopable momentum if John McCain doesnt' step it up.  Don't get me wrong, I am  not fooled by Obama's use of rhetoric.  John McCain, is, in no uncertain terms, a patriot and a leader and the Right Wing Squadron is as faithful to his campaign as ever.  I don't want to see a left wing loon in charge of this country.  We need the full force of conservatives and independents to help catapult McCain into the White House.  I hope the McCain campaign has something up their sleeves.

Looney Al Gore is at it again!  He is trying to tell Americans how to run their lives.  Now, I personally think everyone is responsible to take care of our environment.  However, I am not convinced that global warming is primarily cause by humans.  Heck, I remember back in the 60's and 70's the same left wing loons were running around saying that we were headed for an ice age!

Anyway, Gore just can't seem to get with his own program.  I mean, he creates a pretty large carbon footprint himself.  He still seems to need to drive around in huge gas guzzlers.  In fact, he even has his vehicle idling with the air conditioner running when he is in a building.  His supporters can't even seem to practice what they preach.

Take a look...

A video was released of a Gitmo interrogation.  It shows a Gitmo detainee who was deprived of sleep and being questioned.  Frankly the prisoner was being treated pretty well for someone who was trying to kill Americans.  But of course, a lawyer is trying to say he was treated inhumanely.  You can click the link below and see the video for yourself.  I am sure you will find that he is being treated pretty well.  Consider this while watching it... if you were the parents of U.S. Soldier what was killed the grenade thrown by this young terrorist, would you think that his interrogation was too harsh.  See for yourself...
