Howard Dean wants the Superdelegates to make their selections by July 1 so that the Democrats don't have go all the way to the convention.  Dean said, "You don't want to demoralize the base of the Democratic Party by having the Democrats attack each other. ...Let the media and the Republicans and the talking heads on cable television attack and carry on, fulminate at the mouth.  The supporters should keep their mouths shut about this stuff on both sides because that is harmful to the potential victory of a Democrat".

Of course, Dean wants to short circuit his party's voting process because he recognizes that the fightng is harming the Democrats.  I feel he should let the process work itself out instead of using his position as DNC to influence voting.

This is a great example of why we don't want a Democrat in office right now.  I mean, if their voting system doesn't work, how in the heck are they going to run the country.
