First DNC's Chief Howard Dean said that he wants the Superdelegates to make their selections by July 1. Now he has had "extensive discussions" with Clinton and Obama's campaigns to cool the rhetoric. Should he be trying to control the process? I think the process should play out without his control.
Dean says ""I don't think the party is going to implode...". If he feels that way, why is he trying to control the process. Why deny it? He knows the process is hurting the party! Why not just admit it. It is very similar to Obama's denial of his knowledge of Wright's racial and anti-American rantings. Sen. Bill Nelson (D) said, "If ever we've had an example of a mess, it's this one, and I don't think there's anybody in America that is satisfied with this presidential nominating process." Thank you Bill, at least we know that there are some Democrats who will be honest with the American people.
