Today the Obama Administration announced that it will be taking over General Motors with a $30.1 Million Restructuring Plan/Bailout. Most of America was against the Big O and his socialist pals. According to Rasmussen Reports, Only 21% of voters nationwide support the Obama administration’s plan to run General Motors. 67% oppose. Quite shocking for an administration that allows current headlines and polls to make the majority of it's decisions! My question is how in the heck do we pay for this without a drastic tax increase? Well, since I am so dedicated to finding out the truth I pulled some strings and got in touch with Timmy Geitner to answer this question via cell phone from China. I recorded the conversation so here is the transcript:
Jeff: "Timmy, did the ChiComs give you the $30.1 Million to bail out GM or are the taxpayers going to have to foot the bill?"
Timmy G: "No, they were concerned about inflation or something? And our debt being worthless? They kept asking me to show them the math to our bailouts. Not sure what they were talking about, they speak goofy I couldn't understand."
Jeff: "You are the Treasury Secretary what do you mean you don't understand the math .... um, nevermind? .... Since we are broke as a country how are we going to pay for yet another bailout?"
Timmy G: "That's an easy one Jeff, we own a bunch of money printers, it is awesome! And Joe Biden really like to watch all the pretty green colors go real fast on the printing press! We moved his cage down to the treasury so he can watch! That Joe is such a funny old dude!"
Jeff: "You keep Joe Biden in a cage?"
Timmy G: "Well we let him out to go to the bathroom and do interviews on MSNBC - that Joe is a good sport! But after the last gaffe about the swine flu Barack thought it best to keep him in his cage."
Jeff: "Umm, okay .... But Timmy you can't just print more money - it will create inflation that hasn't been seen since the Carter administration."
Timmy G: "That's our goal Jeff, increased inflation will destroy the entire private sector, we are declaring war on all those corrupt people with jobs. We will show them ... what? Okay gotta go Nancy Pelosi is here we are going to go kiss some more ChiCom butt!"
Enough with the jokes. I listened to BHO's entire TelePromptered speech today and as usual much of it concerned me. However, one section in particular made me want to slap every single self-proclaimed Conservative Democrat who voted for this guy in the face. BHO said:
"I will not pretend the hard times are over. Difficult days lie ahead. More jobs will be lost. More plants will close. More dealerships will shut their doors, and so will many parts suppliers. But I want you to know that what you're doing is making a sacrifice for the next generation, a sacrifice you may not have chose to make, but a sacrifice you were nevertheless called to make so that your children and all of our children can grow up in an America that still makes things, that still builds cars, that still strives for a better future."
So the President of the United States just told us that life is not going to get any better for us but hopefully after we die things will be swell. No big deal, right? Seriously, read this quote again! He just isn't a drinker of the proverbial Socialism Kool-aid, Obama is freaking Jim Jones. This guy is a True Believer! I used to think that he was just a puppet of the left wing crazies but in reality BHO is the Master Puppeteer. He ran on the ticket for "Change" and he is holding up his end of the bargain. The problem is no one in the State Run Media actually asked him what he was going to Change.
